
Marina’s sophisticated and original performing talent encompasses a rich variety of styles and genres. She completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Piano from Nuremberg School of Music having won scholarships to attend both the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute New York and the University of Music Augsburg from which she graduated with Masters of Music Degree in 2011.
Russian-born Marina was titled the ’Most Promising Young Pianist’ in Saint Petersburg and has won the First Federal Prize of Germany and the Steinway Piano Competition in Munich, Germany. She performed on Chinese Central Television, at the German National Theater Berlin, the State Opera Munich and played with Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Marina has also been sharing her experience as a renowned piano teacher by nurturing emerging talent. EMI Music UK have recognised Marina’s expertise and employed her to developing their child prodigies. She also teaches regularly in London and is founder and director at Music Teachers London.
As a recording artist, Marina has been working together with the UK classical charts #1 producer John Haywood on her solo album ‘Pianology’ using her innate understanding and passion for various musical genres by composing her unique, beautiful re-interpretations of rock classics, and combining these with classical virtuosity. She is also a founding member of the classical-electro band Rubato with whom she has been performing since 2012. In 2015 Marina collaborated with the renowned British composer Alexis Ffrench on his current project Elixir. Since 2016 Marina has been performing a series of concerts in London with UK's leading soprano Emily Estelle.
